Reelfoot Lake Eagles
It sprawls across 15,000 watery acres in northwest Tennessee. Reelfoot Lake is a testament to nature’s force…said to be created by a violent earthquake in 1811 which caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards. Today Reelfoot is a popular place for hunters and anglers. It’s also the home for part of the year to our nation’s symbol - the majestic bald eagle. Spreading their wings and gliding through the sky, the eagles attract visitors from across the nation. Wild Side Guide Cassandra Finch takes us on a special tour to meet folks who are protecting this impressive symbol of freedom.
